Even before his performance at the London Stadium on 3rd June, the organizers of the show stated that the tickets are completely sold out. This has made him the first African artist to headline a stadium show in the UK. He was joined by more fine hip-hop stars like Stormzy, J Hus, Dave, and the Jamaican singer Popcaan. And together they have created an atmosphere of unity and above all a grand celebration of hip-hop styles.

In his statement, Burna Boy said, “I had an unforgettable experience performing at London Stadium,” continuing further, he said, “The energy from the crowd was unmatched, and I’m grateful to all my fans for their unwavering support. Being featured in Apple Music Live is an incredible opportunity to share this historic moment with my fans worldwide. I’m excited for everyone to witness the magic we created that night. Special thanks to Apple Music for capturing and showcasing the performance.”

This has been considered as one of his recent and magnetic triumphs, the London Stadium has over 60,000 sitting arrangements. And the popularity of the ‘Last Last’ singer continued to New York’s Citi Field Stadium on 8th July, filling 41,000 seats completely for his show. And he continues to create his name globally with his engaging Afrobeat style and enigmatic presence. He is the most-streamed Nigerian artist of all time on Apple Music Worldwide, and also the Most-streamed artist in Nigeria.

Though it has been a decade since he dropped his debut album, in the last 18 months his popularity has flamed up and people have started to vouch for this incredible Afrobeat powerhouse of this age. This might be his rapidly touring side effects. In April 2022, he was the first Nigerian artist to sell out over 30,000 tickets at the Madison Square Garden show. Later on, he embarked upon his U.S. tour captivating over 15,000 fans each day across his show dates.

Ebro Darden, Apple Music’s global head of hip-hop and R&B, said, “Burna Boy is a force of nature whose global rise shows no sign of slowing down any time soon,” about his achievements in the Landmark stadiums of the UK and US. His sold-out London Stadium performance will be available on 19th July; from 12 PM onwards will be available on Apple Music and Apple TV+.
