The Voice is stirring up its judge panel for this season as Camila Cabello will be featuring in the place of Kelly Clarkson who has been a judge for the last 8 seasons.
The Voice has announced the mix-up in their next judges’ panel and the viewers are eagerly looking forward to it. In this season, Camila Cabello is expected to feature as a judge in the show in the place of Kelly Clarkson.
On Sunday, The Voice Tweeted the next round of coaches. The tweet read, “Give a warm welcome to your Voice Coaches. [heart emoji] #TheVoice returns this fall with @blakeshelton, @johnlegend, @gwenstefani, and @Camila_Cabello,”.
It also posted a video of the group where Camila could be seen together with John Legend, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani. The artist seems to be quite happy competing against them after mentoring John Legend’s team last season. Camila also posted on her TikTok account, regarding ‘The Voice’.
Camila will be stepping in for Kelly Clarkson who has been featuring in The Voice for the last eight seasons, since 2014. Among her eight seasons, she has won 4 of them. Now it is time to see whether Camila can keep up with the legacy.
The singer will have to compete against John Legend whom she helped in the last season. Blake Shelton is a long-time coach in the show and his wife Gwen Stefani will be taking the place of last season’s addition of Ariana Grande.
Camila seems to have already been in sync with her fellow judges with her post on TikTok where she could be seen singing Mika’s ‘Grace Kelly’ along with other judges.
The audiences do not have to miss Kelly Clarkson’s Television presence as The Kelly Clarkson Show has reached its fourth season as well. Regarding her halt in work, the ‘Stronger’-singer said, “I literally said ‘no’ to everything this summer.”
She further emphasized saying, “I will not do anything this summer. Since I was 16 years old, I haven’t had a summer off. This is my first summer off. I am taking time.”
Camila’s first reality show was X- factor where she performed with the girl group Fifth Harmony back in 2012. The group ranked at the third position and garnered a lot of attention. Later on, Cabello left the group in 2016 and embarked on her solo journey.
Talking about the importance of reality shows the ‘Havana’ singer said, “I would not be where I am today if I hadn’t auditioned for a show like this,” in the last season of The Voice. She further added, “It genuinely gives people an opportunity, which I think is so amazing, so beautiful.”
