Celine Dion has canceled the rest of her world tour dates, she published a video where the singer came in front of the camera and shared her condition with the world. Her voice was shaking while she was conveying this message show how showing how vulnerable she is right now. Of the rarity of the disease, her condition is in some ways incurable, doctors have confessed that this is a case that happens once in a million. But they all are trying really hard to make this work and to cure her of this condition.
On 26th May, the “My heart will go on” singer shared that she was highly disappointed to let her fans down but she will not be able to perform at any cost due to the sign of this syndrome. The Canadian singer stated in her video, “I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100 percent.” Then she added, “I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again.”
“I want you all to know, I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!” the 55-year-old singer confessed. Previously she had announced that she has stiff person syndrome last December. And this condition has affected her to the core, as it can hamper her daily movement causing a lot of trouble while she walking, singing, or simply talking. Due to occasional “Spasms,” her day-to-day activities have been getting upset.
She said, “Unfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life, sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I’m used to.” A “great team of doctors” is working really hard so that she could recover from this situation. Celine Dion said, “All I know is singing. It’s what I’ve done all my life and it’s what I love to do the most.”
All the ticket holders of these 42 dates of this world tour will get their refund. After the death of her Husband plus manager Rene Angelil, this would have been her first world tour.
