Chappell Roan Will Be Performing At Elton John’s Oscar Watch Party

Elton John announced his annual Academy Awards viewing party on social media. This viewing party supports the Aids Foundation. However, John announced that this year, Chappell Roan will be the sole performer of the event. According to the reports, it is becoming known that along with Elton John and his husband, David Furnish, there will be more co-hosts at the event. Sheryl Lee Ralph, Jean Smart,David Burtka, and Neil Patrick Harris are going to co-host the event, which is making it even more exciting for all their fans. They are arranging for this event to raise funds for AIDS research. In addition to that, it is also an initiative to eliminate the stigma ofthe LGBTQ community and AIDS.

Many are coming together in this event to show their support for such a great motive. While talking about the performance of the night, John said ‘David and I are thrilled to gather with friends and supporters once again, and we’re honored to welcome the bold and authentic Chappell Roan as this year’s performer, whose artistry embodies the power of music to inspire change’. It is true how Chappell Roan has showcased her talent and passion through her music. Her songs have the power to motivate and inspire people from within. And that is one of the reasons that she has been chosen for the performance.

John even advised Chappell a few things that say ‘Chappell was a little overwhelmed with her sudden success — although she’d been writing for a long time, it really kind of ballooned very quickly. I just try and calm her down and say, ‘Listen, it’s fine. It’s fine. Do what you want. Don’t listen to anybody. Walk at your own speed. Do not listen to the record company saying, ‘We want another album, we want another album.’ Do it when you’re ready to do it’’.

Chappell and John became quite close in the past year. It came to be seen that both of them connected quite deeply in last year. There is no doubt that John is obsessed with Chappell’s creations. he has always been there to support her music and that deepens their relationship even more. this year, at the Academy Awards viewing party many celebrities will join.
