The ongoing ‘Brat’ tour Charli XCX is marking her epic comeback in the music industry and she has just offered one of the best performances in London. XCX is a party girl and she did not forget to bring her friends to the party who are Caroline Polachek, Robyn, and Yung Lean.
Charli’s ‘Brat’ is one of the most successful electro-pop projects which is almost creating a cultural phenomenon. It has also released with remix record that received much attention from the fans. Proceeding with a successful year, the singer is making brisk moves by kicking off Manchester’s Co-Op Live yesterday where she performed the remix of ‘So I’ in order to pay her tributes for SOPHIE.
Then she performed at the O2 Arena in London and mostly offered tracks off her highly successful sixth album. The remixed companion was also there which includes ‘365’, ‘Club Classics’, and many others. ‘Shygirl’ was the opener and of course, there was the staple track ‘Apple’ where the concertgoers started matching steps with the viral TikTok dance which went wildly viral. Now it is time for George Daniel from The 1975 to try these steps as he is Charli’s fiancé.
Charli and Polachek worked together for the remixed track ‘Everything is romantic’ how that song was being played over speakers. Perhaps it was a part of the play as Polachek joined later when XCX performed the solo ‘Desire, I Want To Turn Into You’ with her and they offered an encore version of the remix. Later on, they also performed the track ‘Welcome To My Island’ which was remixed by Daniel.
Soon enough, Robyn also joined the stage along with Yung Lean where they performed the tracks ‘Dancing On My Own’ and ‘360’. Shygirl could hold herself but allowed her to join the stage to dance. The pop essence peaked when the night ended with a captivating rendition of Icona Pop’s ‘I Love It’, an all-time favorite of pop lovers.
After London, Charli XCX has two more dates in the UK, in Birmingham and Glasgow, respectively. However, this is not the end as the singer is set to embark on a big ‘Brat’ tour in the summer of 2025. It was also confirmed that the artist will be headlining at Parklife 2025 as well as at London’s LIDO Festival.
