Pop star Charlie XCX’s performance at the Glastonbury Fest was absolutely on fire. The singer offered a “Partygirl” set on Friday night that set the mood for the weekend for her fans. She brought Robyn for the high-octane performance of “With Every Heartbeat.”
The singer also brought Romy who is best known for remixing the hit track by Robyn, “Dancing on My Own.” Bringing out Robyn and Romy was a powerful move that helped to offer an enticing musical experience.
Charli XCX has come up with her brand new album project ‘Brat’ after a long time and the success of the project is putting her into new heights of buzz. The music project creates a different stratosphere for rave music and it has successfully landed on the second position on the U.K. albums chart. After its release on June 7, the album has been garnering critical acclaim from the critics. Perhaps, this is the most commercially successful music project by XCX.
Along with the hype for ‘Brat’, the singer has dropped many other remixed projects which intensifies the situation while celebrating its success. Charli worked with Robyn as well as Yung Lean for the track “360” which captivated listeners. She made the “Von Dutch” version along with Addison Rae and her longtime collaborator A.G. Cook. One of the most exciting collaborations took place between Charli XCX and Lorde for the track “Girl, So Confusing”. It is rumored that the ‘Girl’ in the track is referred to Lorde herself.
The track offers lines like, “People say we’re alike / They say we’ve got the same hair/ We talk about making music/ But I don’t know if it’s honest.” Charli also sings “Well honestly I was speechless when I woke up to your voice note / You told me how you’ve been feeling / Let’s work it out on the remix.” Surely, they are the besties!
