Christina Aguilera Responds to Pink after She Dissed Her

Alecia Beth Moore Hart, better known as Pink has recently commented and complained to BuzzFeed regarding her bad experience working with Christina Aguilera. This situation is sprinkling gasoline on the cold war between these two musical moguls.

Being a talented singer and songwriter, Pink is quite influential in the music industry with her strong vocals, high-octane pop tunes, and gymnastics-filled gigs. Previously in 2001, she worked with Christina Aguilera on the track ‘Lady Marmalade’ and now she has been vocal about her dissatisfaction with working with her.

Pink blamed the “personalities” and also said that the other two performers were quite polite and namely Lil Kim and Mya. Well, this is not the first time Pink was vocal against Christina as on Howard Stern’s show, she admitted that she had lost a track named “Beautiful” to Christina in 2002. But she also said that ‘it was the right call to select her for the song’.

Quite evidently, these two musical stars have a rivalry between them but it is not just musically. On the other hand, Pink has not been associated with Christina for a long time but she kept a close eye on her activities.

Christina Aguilera has handled this situation as maturely as possible by avoiding and not digging deep. She offered a general nod and said that she had no issues working with Pink, who is her old pal. She also said she enjoyed working with her.

Following Christina’s response, Pink also has come out and denied slamming Christina for the track ‘Lady Marmalade’. She said it was never about Christina not being a fun personality to work with.

Pink recently posted a picture with her son in a pink tint along with a long caption that states different aspects of her musical career as well as life. It was like an open letter, quite emotional, and touched the hearts of the fans.

At the end caption, Pink also mentioned Christina, saying “To Christina- you know where we stand. Resolved. Onwards and upwards. And thank you all for listening- and for the 25 years.”

So, are these singers calling it a truce? That’s yet to see.
