The original version of the song was performed by Selena Gomez.
The British rock band is reportedly invited Hannah Reid from London Grammar on stage to perform the single on Sunday, July 10th at the Berlin Olympiastadion show.
The band is currently on an eco-friendly world tour and London Grammar is supporting some of the dates.
In a video recorded by a fan, Reid is seen entering the stage picking up the verses that were sang by Selena Gomez in the single, ‘Let Somebody Love’ from Coldplay’s 2021 album, ‘Music Of The Spheres’.
The performance received positive responses from the audience.
1,000 musicians perform the cover of ‘Paradise City’ by Guns N’ Roses
The classic hit track was recently used in the latest Thor film, ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, which piqued the interest of music lovers across the world.
The musicians who performed the cover are part of an artist collective called Rockin’ 1000. 1000 musicians from 25 countries covered the song at the eighth birthday celebration show at Paris’ Stade de France.
The collective describes itself as ‘the biggest rock band on earth’ and their recent Paris concert was attended by more than 50,000 people.
‘Paradise City’ is once again trending after being featured on the ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’.
Hyunjin from Star Kids reduces involvement in the band’s US tour due to injury
The South Korean K-pop idol recently sustained some injury after he bumped his right hand on a door before the band’s Oakland show on July 12th.
He received immediate first aid from the medical team present there. Though the injury is minor, the doctor has advised him to take a rest and not do harsh moments with his hands.
The band is currently on its North America Tour and the record label JYP Entertainment has announced that the South Korean singer will not be able to fully participate in the tour because of the injury.
A Brisbane amateur choir receives praise from Kate Bush for their cover of ‘Running Up That Hill’
The 1985-single has been recently used in the latest season of the popular TV show ‘Stranger Things’. It topped the UK’s Official Singles Chart for three weeks straight.
Since it was featured it has been covered by musicians all over the world including the Brisbane Pub Choir. Kate Bush has been very much impressed by the cover. She called it ‘utterly wonderful’.
The communal amateur choir performed the cover two weeks ago in Brisbane, Australia with 1,600 people gathered to sing the song. The founder and director of the choir, Astrid Jorgensen expressed his excitement after receiving feedback from Bush herself.
The song broke three Guinness World Records after its reappearance.
