On 10th September, XCX to her official Instagram account to share a video of her and Troye strutting around a stage while singing an unreleased track with lyrics ‘Whisper right in my ear / tell me all your secrets and fears / Once you talk to me I’ll talk to you / and say ‘hey shall we go back to my place’ that features both of them. This video created a buzz among the fans and they started to connect the dots and fill their brain with speculation about collaboration. With the Spanish voice clip, fans at first started thinking that maybe, there will be a remix version of ‘Talk Talk’ as the outro of the original song sees XCX sing, ‘Talk to me in French / talk to me in Spanish / talk to me in your own made-up language’.

Although this exact speculation was not agreed upon but the speculation about collaboration was later on confirmed by zhone who had produced Troye Sivan’s Grammy-nominated track ‘Rush’ along with Kesha’s ‘Joyride’, Loreen’s ‘Forever’ and Adam Lambert’s ‘Wet Dream’ when he took his official Instagram account to share XCX’s video, captioning it by saying ‘Produced by me and the boys’ while tagging three of the iconic artists and producers Styalz Fuego of Paloma Faith and Imagine Dragos and Novodor of Blu DeTiger and ODESA.
