The news of Demi Lovato and Scooter Braun not working together anymore is confirmed by many news resources.
The rumors were out only after a week after Justin Bieber shared his decision about leaving SB projects and confirms that Scooter Braun is no longer acting as his manager. Although Braun was working as his manager for 16 years and they have now decided to split their ways.
The singer of “Heart Attack” started working together with Scooter Braun back in 2019. She was very much excited when the 31-year-old singer signed with the mega-manager and also posted her excitement on Instagram captioning, “Dreams came true for me. I officially have a NEW MANAGER. And not just any manager but the one and only Scooter Braun.” She also said, “Couldn’t be happier, inspired, and excited to begin this next chapter,” she continued. “Thank you for believing in me and for being a part of this new journey.”
Braun was also involved in a very argumentative controversy with the megastar Swift. Taylor mentioned “bully” and also “the definition of toxic male privilege in our industry” talking about Scooter Braun. Taylor wanted to purchase the rights to her first six studio albums when she bought Big Machine Records, her big label. But some disagreement occurred and Braun made a deal later in 2020, November for more than $300 million and sold the masters.
After all the controversies Braun finally broke his silence on the hitting topic last year and says in an interview with NPR’s Jay William that addressing all the controversies around him was a “learning lesson”. He also continued commenting, “The regret I have there is that I assumed that everyone, once the deal was done, was going to have a conversation with me, see my intent, see my character, and say, great, let’s be in business together,”. Braun still feels strongly that it was unfair and biased treatment from the other side towards him. He added while giving an interview to NPR “I can’t put myself in a place of, you know, arrogance to think that someone would just be willing to have a conversation and be excited to work with me,”, He winded up this matter saying, “So I choose to look at it as a learning lesson, a growing lesson, and I wish everyone involved well,”
