Demi Lovato reveals that she was sexually assaulted on the night of overdose. The drug dealer who sexually tortured her left her “for dead”. She claims that she never had such a dangerous cocktail of heroin and other drugs which was given by the drug dealer. It almost caused a fatal overdose risking her life.

The ‘Heart Attack’ vocalist remembers the trauma she woke up to three years ago. She gained consciousness at the hospital and doctors asked her if she had intercourse with someone during an overdose.

‘Dancing with the devil’ is a mini docuseries about the life of the most loved pop star.

“I remembered him lying on top of me, so I said, ‘yes,’” Lovato says in her YouTube docuseries, “Dancing With the Devil.”

But later she thought that could not happen in her condition. She understood that she was strongly intoxicated on the night of overdose. In July 2018, she faced near-tragedy when her senses collapsed and she realized that she could not move to have sex consensually.

“It wasn’t until maybe a month after my overdose that I realized, ‘Hey, you weren’t in any state of mind to make a consensual decision,’” she recalls. “That kind of trauma doesn’t go away overnight.”

The 28-year-old singer says that she relapsed one more time after her overdose in July.

“I wish I could say the last night that I ever touched heroin was the night of my overdose but it wasn’t,” she says. She did not name her drug dealer who assaulted her sexually on the night of her overdose but she tried to take “the power back” from him.

“I wanted to rewrite his choice of violating me,” she explains. “I wanted it now to be my choice, and he also had something that I wanted, which were drugs. I ended up getting high.”

She called him up and told him “I’m going to f–k you.” That was the time she hit rock bottom and relapsed once again for doing wrong drugs.

“I thought, ‘How did I pick up the same drugs that put me in the hospital?’” she recalls. “I was like mortified at my decisions.”

Now she is found sober after she was admitted for a drug overdose. Though, she claims in her docuseries that she still has a limited amount of marijuana and alcohol occasionally.

“I’ve learned that shutting the door on things makes me want to open the door even more,” she says. “I know I’m done with the stuff that’s gonna kill me … but I wish that I could get some relief maybe through weed or something, right?”
