After a series of Controversies attached to his name in the latter half of 2021, he increased the pace of releasing new music. However, his fans have not necessarily embraced his last few releases.
In the past few days, he has been experimenting with his choice of music production. He came out of his realm or comfort zone and tried to bring something new to the audience.
The rapper uploaded the latest single with a music video on his official YouTube channel yesterday morning. The rapper, after his controversy with the LGBTQ community, remained silent most of the year until the release of the song.
It seems that he answered all the hate comments and backlashes against him. Till the time of the release of the song, he maintained a low profile and quiet. The song comes as an answer to all of them who bullied him.
Following the comments on Homophobia and factually incorrect remarks on those who are suffering from HIV/AIDS, the rapper got some blows in his music career. His events got canceled, fans got upset and many production houses tried to avoid DaBaby. In addition, many radio stations dropped Da from their schedules.
Recovering from all the hatred he faced, he is back with a strong lyrical rap in his latest song. It answered, on his behalf, everything he wanted to say after the controversy took place and became big.
2021 was indeed the worst year of the rapper. Someway or other he eloped with controversies right from the beginning of the year. In January, when he announced his collaboration with Tony Lanez, he made a controversy, as Tony was alleged with shooting Megan Thee Stallion in July 2020.
However, despite all these controversies, DaBaby is quite consistent with his music. Although he appeared less after the homophobic controversy, the pace of releasing new music has been increased.
The song, ‘Book It’, within a few hours of its release, has been applauded a lot. Fans are showering him with love and support on various social media platforms. The series of criticisms may be dwarfed with the release of the song with such strong content.
