The famous Pop artist Doja Cat has dropped a bomb silently by releasing a new single ‘Unisex Freestyle’ on SoundCloud in June.

Not every musician is having an eventful year like her as the platinum record ‘Say So’ has made her name widely popular in every corner of the world. It was later turned into a remix that featured Nicki Minaj and both the singers made history by landing on #1 on the US charts. They were accompanied by Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé’s version of ‘Savage’ on the second spot. It has happened for the first time in the past few decades that four powerful black female artists have been holding the first two spots on the Billboard charts. When the world is tearing apart based on colors, these singers have captured the throne of music to lead the population towards a brighter future.

Working with Nicki Minaj was a life-time achievement for the new star and she didn’t forget to congratulate the rap queen on 22nd June 2020 for reaching the No.1 spot again on the Billboard Hot 100 for the new single ‘Trollz’. She went IG live and dedicated the video to Nicki Minaj saying, “Congratulations to Nicki Minaj on her No. 1, her second f—ing No. 1 of… two No. 1’s in one year… holy s–t,” and she was using a glasses filter over her sunglasses and a pencil-thin mustache filter that looked weirdly magical over the heart earrings.

On June 24, 2020, Doja Cat released a new single Unisex Freestyle, addressing that the song is for everyone who wants to feel the right vibe. She dropped it on SoundCloud exactly two years after it was initially recorded and without any razzamatazz on social media.

She took to twitter and posted the link of the SoundCloud track with a caption “I made some more horny shit check it out”.

The single offers lazy and sassy beats in her sugary voice singing “All the girls like me, and their mans? Unisex, unisex/ I’m for all the ladies and gentlemen/ I’m unisex, unisex.” She cannot resist herself from tempting all the ladies and gentlemen out in the world with sexy metaphors like “I got juices for him, I got jobs for him/ Here’s the uniform/ You a corn on the cob, I’m a unicorn/ They all bump it in they rides, had to toot my horns”.

The favorite Cat of every artist in L.A likes to purr about her upcoming releases on Instagram live and she didn’t make an exception this time before she dropped the song quietly without any extreme fanfare. She also added a teaser of another official music video ‘Like That’. It will be released on June 26, 2020, and she has given a small hint that it will be The Sailor Moon-inspired video.

‘Like That’ and ‘Unisex’ belong to the last album ‘Hot Pink’ that she released in 2019 with the #1 ranked song ‘Say So’.

Though she had been surfing on rough tides for a while because of the racial comments and for being involved in an alt-right chat group. It will be the first single in a while that she recorded after receiving backlashes and trolls from the netizens.

Though a few moments later, she took to social media and apologized for the statements and left everyone quite in surprise saying “I love you all and I’m sorry for upsetting or hurting any of you. That’s not my character, and I’m determined to show that to everyone moving forward. Thank you.” She didn’t stop there and donated $100,000 to honor the cause for which Breonna Taylor lost her life. Breonna Taylor and George Floyd both were killed by American police officers in 2020. Her tour dates and concert details can be found on her website with gauzy merchandise.
