Eminem Announces The Release Date Of His Latest Album ‘The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)’

On 2^nd July, the world-famous rapper, Eminem announced the release date of his much anticipated 12^th studio album,‘The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)’. The announcement came on the screen for the album as ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ episodes featuring the global star who is ultimately meeting his end while asking the question ‘Who killed Slim Shady?’ In the video, his fellow rapper 50 Cent is also seen. This teaser created a buzz among the fans and finally to put an end to all the theories rising among the fans, Slim Shady himself also known as the most popular rapper Eminem announced the release date to be 12^th July, Friday.

Along with a horrifying trailer, the megastar came out with the announcement. The trailer shows a blonde woman giving birth to a child in a hospital. After the delivery, the baby is seen to be still and not breathing but with a few slaps on the back it starts crying. When the new mother holds the baby with tears of great joy rolling down her face suddenly the baby’s eyes turn completely black and it grows a slithering tongue split in half like a snake and horns on both sides of its head. Seeing this, the doctors and the nurses present in the operation theatre scream ‘Holy Sh*t’ and run out of the room.

But before this album, Eminem will be releasing the second single named ‘Tobey’ on 2^nd July which will be featuring Detroit native Big Sean and Babytron. It will be the first collaboration with BabyTron and the fourth one with Big Sean. This is a follow-up after his controversial number ‘Houdini’, released on 31^st May, which was associated with the infamous shooting accident happening in 2020 with Megan Thee Stallion. It was controversial due to the reference to the transgender community, cancel culture, and RuPaul. This album is said to be the first offering of the year by the great Eminem.

Apart from this little is known about the album although Dr. Dre has spilled tea about the tracks Eminem has been working on. He said, ‘Eminem is working on his own album, which is coming this year. I actually talked to him and he said it was okay for me to make that announcement right here on this show. So he has an album coming out, I’ve got the songs on it and it’s fire.’After his last album called ‘Music To Be Murdered By’ which was released in 2020 got a three-star review from NME his new album has risen to great anticipation among his fans from all over the globe.
