A BBC Music Introducing artist, Nieve Ella is set to tour Europe with Girl In Red. Ella will be supporting the artist on the 21-date European leg of her tour.
The music industry is discovering new talents everywhere and it is time for Nieve Ella to shine. The BBC introducing artist is all set to tour Europe with another top Norwegian artist, Girl In Red. Ella started her journey in the world of music by starting to make songs in her bedroom during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. She is now heading towards a six-week European tour with a top Norwegian artist. Ella will be supporting the Norwegian singer-songwriter and record producer Girl In Red on the 21-date European leg of the artist’s Doing It Again Tour. Nieve Ella is from Albrighton, who started sending her music to BBC in 2022 and since then has signed with a record label. “Every time I think about it, I just smile,” she commented.
The Europe tour begins on September 1st and will visit several countries in the continent like Norway, Switzerland, and Germany. The venues of the European leg will include OVO Wembley Arena, which is London’s second-largest indoor arena. Along with it, they will be also performing at 3Arena Dublin, a venue with a capacity of 13,000 people. “It [Dublin] was the first ever arena, or even show, that I went to,” said Nieve. “I was like 14 years old, my mum took me to watch Sam Smith, I was standing there like wow, this is what I want to do.” “I feel like I realized that in that moment, and then, we get to play it” the singer commented.
Naive Ella, who has now a massive TikTok following of 97,000 people is no stranger to big crowds or performing on stage. Last year, the artist played on the BBC Music Introducing stage at Glastonbury. Since then, she has also performed at more than 20 festivals this year. “It’s exciting because a big majority of these people won’t know who I am,” Nieve told BBC Radio Shropshire. “It’s kind of a challenge where I’m like, okay, I get to show you my music and kind of try and win you over a bit.” “It really motivates me” she continued.
The 20-year-old musician saw more than 200,000 people head to Worthy Farm, Somerset, for a line-up of artists which includes The Artic Monkeys and Elton John. Before going up on stage, she and her band saw the crowd and had tears in their eyes, as Nieve described to BBC Radio Shropshire. “I’m here at Glastonbury ready to perform, I’m feeling pretty excited, it’s very hot and sweaty here,” she added. “Very busy but it’s a vibe, I love it so much.” She further said that performing at the festival was an “absolute dream come true,” which came with a stage she would always remember. “It’s just absolutely crazy,” she added. “I’m kind of giving cowboy, cowgirl vibes with my outfit, I thought it suits really well for the countryside theme, but yeah I am so excited.”
Nieve Ella recently announced that she is releasing her third EP Watch It Ache and Bleed on October 17th.
