With ALL due respect, during Hollywood’s season of celebration, I hope any of the network’s television the upcoming awards will seriously consider NOT televising them and donating the revenue they would have garnered to the victims of the fires and the firefighters.
As of now, the 2024 Critics Choice Awards are about to air on 12th January, Sunday. It has been postponed to 26th January. This is going to take place at Barker Hangar instead. The CEO of Critics Choice Association, Joey Berling has said ‘This unfolding tragedy has already had a profound impact on our community. All our thoughts and prayers are with those battling the devastating fires and with all who have been affected.
Along with this, the 97th Academy Awards have been postponed from 17th January to 19th January. The authorities have also said that the voters need to wait until 14th January for this sudden accident. Many lineups were there to occur in L.A. in the coming weeks. Through a post on social media platforms, America’s Got Talent has said that their 12th January Pasadena audition is also being postponed. The post says ‘Your safety is our top priority. We will announce a new audition date soon. Stay safe’.
In January only, shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live, Los Angeles Rams Game, BAFTA Tea Party, After Midnight, WGA Nominations, AFI Awards Luncheon, ‘Unstoppable’ premiere, and a lot was about to take place.
