Kylie Minogue offers a tribute to the ‘Queen of Pop’, Madonna by wearing an embellished shirt with the singer’s name on it, at the Celebration Tour in Los Angeles.
‘Queen of Pop’, Madonna has shocked her fans by officially bringing Kylie Minogue into her royal court. Minogue is widely renowned as the Princess of Pop and she joined the Queen on stage for an amazing performance that took place on Thursday Night, at Celebration Tour in Los Angeles.
Madonna, currently 65 years old, was performing at the Kia Forum and suddenly, she shocked the fans by announcing the presence of Minogue, 55 at the event. The singer-songwriter took a pause and said that Minogue would be joining shortly for two songs. She will make a cover of Gloria Gaynor’s acclaimed track “I Will Survive,” as well as her own 2001 global hit “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.”

Madonna also shared a picture with Minogue on social media and the caption reads, Couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate International Woman’s Day. Then to Sing with @kylieminogue. On. Stage last night!!!!” Truly it was an empowering moment for all women and the fans present at the concert.
On the show, Madonna told the audience, “I would like to introduce a very special guest who is going to come up here and sing with me. Her name is Kylie Minogue.” Minogue soon joined the stage with Madonna and was warmly welcomed with a round of applause. She was wearing a black shirt that was bedazzled with Madonna’s name.
Madonna did something similar back in 2000 MTV EMAs performance. She was wearing a similar-looking shirt with Minogue’s name on it. Before they started singing, the two legends looked at each other and said, “Here we are!” The Celebration Tour was quite invigorating for the fans already and Minogue’s presence even made it better on Women’s Day.
Minogue also posted on social media and shared her gratitude for the Queen saying, MADONNA It’s been a long time coming!!! LOVED being with you!!!!” She further wrote, “Celebration Tour AND it is now International Women’s Day …. THANK YOU and LOVE LOVE LOVE.”
After the 2000 EMAs performance, Madonna said, “Its really my celebration of other girls in pop music, basically. I had to give a big up to Britney and then a big up to Kylie.” Evidently, it is the best women’s day for pop lovers.
Kylie Minogue is the latest special guest to join Madonna on stage in this ongoing Celebration Tour. The Tour Typically features a new guest every night as a co-judge at the “Vogue” ballroom section.
