This 32-year-old vocalist was joined by the enigmatic BBC orchestra and conductor Simon Hale and the dynamic 16-piece choir, LJ Singers, offering a retrospective showcase of hits spanning his decade-spanning catalog. After the second song, Sam took a pause to express his gratitude toward BBC Proms and the audience for having him saying, ‘I have been thinking about this since I was a kid, and I just want to say to the BBC and everyone here. Thank you for having me.’
