The ‘Cruel Summer’ singer reflected on her six ‘incredible’ shows in Toronto, the penultimate stop on the Eras Tour, in an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, Nov. 26. ‘It was awesome to play in Canada after so much time. As always, the fans in Toronto treated us like it was a hometown show,’ Swift, 34, said. ‘Couldn’t have asked for more love or generosity from the people who came out.’ With only three concerts left in the Eras Tour, Taylor Swift is nearing the very end of a year-plus-long global tour. The singer was understandably reflective about that when writing about her penultimate tour stop, Toronto, on Instagram. She will perform at her last shows in Vancouver on December 6, December 7, and December 8.

‘Our next city will be the last one of The Eras Tour and the closing of the most extraordinary chapter of my life so far,’ Swift said. ‘See you, Vancouver. We can’t wait to give you all we’ve got for three more shows.’ Her full message touched on the ‘love’ she felt playing in Toronto with her opener, Gracie Abrams. Swift wrote in full, ‘Our 6 shows in Toronto were so incredible. It was awesome to play in Canada after so much time. As always, the fans in Toronto treated us like it was a hometown show. Couldn’t have asked for more love or generosity from the people who came out. I got to play a mashup of the Grammy-nominated song ‘Us’ with @gracieabrams, and I mashed up with ‘Out of the Woods’, and I just adore her. She’s been giving the most amazing performances every night on this tour!!’

She added, ‘The emotions have gotten pretty heightened for me and the rest of the team because it’s gotten extremely real for us: Our next city will be the last one of The Eras Tour, and the closing of the most extraordinary chapter of my life so far. See you, Vancouver. We can’t wait to give you all we’ve got for three more shows. AND for all International fans, I’m excited to tell you The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology will be available to you online starting 29 Nov at 1 pm GMT along with The Official Eras Tour Book starting 7 Dec at 1 pm GMT’.

Swift appeared emotional during her Sunday, Nov. 23 concert and seemed to be fighting back tears during a minutes-long standing ovation after singing evermore ballad ‘Champagne Problems.’ ‘Toronto, we’re at the very end of this tour so you doing that, you have no idea how much it means to me and to my …,’ she said in a video, before losing her train of thought and wiping her eyes. ‘It’s not even the last show!’ Swift joked. ‘My band, my crew, all of my fellow performers, we have put so much of our lives into this. And you’ve put so much of your lives into being with us tonight and to giving us that moment that we will never forget.’
