The nominees of the 29th Annual Webby Awards have been disclosed recently. This time, The Hollywood Reporter has landed with two nominations.
The 29th Annual Webby Awards has announced its nominees, which will be held in New York next month. Kendrick Lamar, Selena Gomez, Sabrina Carpenter, THR’s Zoe Saldaña, Gracie Abrams, Nutter Butter, and more have been nominated for this year’s Webby Awards. The Hollywood Reporter has landed with two noms. One for the best Individual editorial feature, 2024 Sustainability Issue, and the other for the best interview or talk show, Drama Actress Roundtable. This talk show featured Sofía Vergara,Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, Jodie Foster, Anna Sawai, Brie Larson, and Naomi Watts.
As of now, it is coming to know that, there are other nominations of Apple, Amazon MGM Studios, Netflix, the Obama Foundation, Hulu, Bruno Mars, Kerry Washington, Cynthia Erivo, Trixie Mattel, Bowen Yang, Keke Palmer, Matthew McConaughey, Jon Stewart, Michael Cera, A$AP Rocky, Gracie Abrams, Lady Gaga, Kyle MacLachlan, Ryan Reynolds, Charli XCX, Hugh Jackman, Jimmy Kimmel, Oprah Winfrey, Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, Jennifer Hudson, and Kelly Clarkson.
The Webby Awards,which is presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, is for giving the recognition to all the media sites, websites, videos, public relations, advertisement, apps, mobile sites, and much more. Along with these, the AI-powered games and creators are also a part of this award. According to reports, it is coming to know that more than 13000 entries were there from 50 states and 70 countries. Among all, only 12% have made it to the nomination.
Along with these, it is also coming to know that the Webbys has introduced a whole new group of creators that are to ‘celebrate the booming creator economy and growing influence of creators who are shaping culture, entertainment and the Internet’. The nominees in this segment are Laufey, Jake Shane, Caleb Simpson, Kai Cenat, Zach King, Trixie Mattel, Remi Bader, Drew Afualo,Abi Marquez,Chris Klemens,and Mark Rober.
