From an awkward start in Sweden to 600,000 followers, Dinha is now shaping the future of comedy, one punchline at a time.
(DailyMusicRoll Editorial):- Los Angeles, California Dec 6, 2024 (Issuewire.com) – In this exclusive Q&A, we sat down with comedian Fadi Dinha to talk about his journey from Gothenburg, Sweden, to amassing over 600,000 followers online, landing a lead role in Pro Choice Dude, and what’s next for him.
When asked about Fadi’s unique background of growing up in Sweden to an Assyrian family and how he got into comedy, he replied “Honestly, I stumbled into it. I wanted to be an actor at first because I was influenced by people on the video app Vine. Seeing those creators make a career from their ideas made me think, “Hey, I want to do that!” But as I made more videos, I found that I loved writing and telling jokes even more than acting. Comedy just felt like a better fit for me.”

We later asked him if it was it difficult to pursue comedy in Sweden to which he answered “Yeah, definitely. In Gothenburg, the comedy scene was pretty much non-existent. Plus, coming from an Assyrian family, it was a little awkward telling people I wanted to be a comedian. I was afraid of being made fun of or judged, but eventually, I had to follow my gut”
But before we ended the interview we couldn’t help but ask “What’s next?”
Fadi, confidently, “I want to sell out theaters and go on tour annually with fresh material. I’d love to release comedy specials and TV shows with platforms like Netflix, HBO, or Adult Swim. But most of all, I just want to keep making people laugh and influence pop culture in a lasting way.”
Reviewers have called Fadi Dinha’s comedy “a breath of fresh air,” praising his fearless approach to sensitive topics. His humor, whether on his Twitch streams or during stand-up, consistently hits the mark, with fans describing it as “honest and thought-provoking.” Critics also note his strategic use of platforms, stating, “Dinha’s growth in the comedy world is the blueprint for success in a digital age.”
