FKA Twigs just announced that she will be canceling in three cities in North America. The English art-pop musician has announced the cancellation of her upcoming tour dates in Chicago, Toronto, and New York after her production team failed to get the necessary paperwork for her American visa.
Tahliah Debrett Barnett, also known as FKA Twigs, shared this disappointing news via social media on Tuesday, March 25th. The music artist explained that while her previous shows from her current Eusexua Tour have been “absolutely incredible,” she admitted that this experience “has been challenging with production and the more practical side of putting this tour together.” one of those challenges is now hampering her tour as the news of her canceling the upcoming shows got out, just days before they were scheduled to take place.
The singer was scheduled to perform in Chicago on 26th-27th March, Toronto on 30th-31st March, and Queens, NY on 3rd-4th May. “Today I was informed that production did not fill out the correct paperwork in a timely manner for us to have our visas to come to the USA and perform,” Twigs explained. “So that means by no choice of my own I will have to pull out of my New York, Chicago, and Toronto shows.” “For those of you who are wondering why I have to pull out of Toronto because it’s not part of the United States, it’s because of routing and just the complex beast that touring is,” the musician added. “I don’t take this lightly. I’m completely devastated, to be honest with you. Completely heartbroken. All I want to do is be there with you and bring Eusexua to you.”

She concluded by saying, “I have not performed in the USA since 2019 and it really feels like a home away from home, and this is just such a huge blow and I feel super let down and I’m looking into how and why this happened and I’m making sure I have the support to correct this. So with that being said, I will be rescheduling these shows and information will be coming on that very shortly. I can’t wait to bring Eusexua to you, it’s truly been one of the greatest achievements of my life.”
‘Eusexua’ is the long-awaited third album from FKA Twigs and has been touring worldwide since its release on January 24. With this album, the artist also reached a new height in her musical career as her album peaked at No. 24 on the Billboard 200. This was her first full-length album since ‘Magdalene’ in 2019. The tour already started off on a rocky path as the musician canceled the two opening shows in Prague and Berlin, citing “shipping issues.” she is now scheduled to perform next in Mexico City on 6th April. According to the new schedule, FKA Twigs will resume her U.S. wing of her tour starting on 11th April, during both the weekends of the Coachella music festival.
