Musical diva Glorilla was the guest on the last night’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ and it can be said that the episode was ‘lit’. The episode was hosted by Dave Chappelle and is perhaps one of the most happening NBC shows.
She performed the Grammy-nominated single “Yeah Glo!” and also offered a Glorious medley along with a live band. Performing the tracks like “Whatchu Kno About Me” and “Let Her Cook”, SNL turned into a mini-concert that no one expected.
There were even three outfit changes on a unique stage that set the whole mood. The ambiance with her powerful bars and the backup dancers was truly immaculate. She also performed a little sketch at the show about online dating shows the show seems to set the mood for a perfect Saturday.
Glorilla is one of the finest music artists in the new age music industry who made huge progress within a short span of time. She gained a lot of attention with her debut full-length album ‘Glorious’ which was finally released last year after a long wait by the fans.
The album boasts some of the day’s best singles like “TGIF” and “Hollon” which are currently topping the charts. This studio LP also offers some satisfying collaborations with artists like Sexyy Red, T-Pain, Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, and many others.
The artist’s breakout song in the industry is “Yeah Glo!” which was also released in 2024 and became one of the favorite tracks of the year for music lovers. It appeared in the Ehhthang Ehhthang mixtape and was nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance at the Grammy Awards for 2025. It is also one of the standout tracks by the artist.
SNL is currently continuing with its 50th season and this season offered a lot of musical performances with the artists Stevie Nicks, Billie Eilish, Coldplay, Mk.gee, Charli XCX, Chapelle Roan, Hozier, Shaboozey, Gracie Abrams, and the so on.
Next week at the SNL, the guest will be Timothée Chalamet who will perform both as musical guest and the host for the show. This is not the first time but Chalamet will be coming to the SNL set for the third time. He has also participated in some kind of goofy hip-hop performance.
