Born in Houston and a graduate of the University of Houston, Stacy moved to Hollywood, California in 1994. Stacy worked for a number of entertainment studios and firms, rising to the position of Vice President of Finance for a movie production company. He then started and has operated his own real estate brokerage firm for more than 15 years.

Stacy has always been dedicated to health and fitness, through nutrition, cardio, and weight training. But he doubled-down, when he added spinning to his regime at age 40. After 11 years of spinning — and achieving amazing sculpted results, Stacy, audaciously at age 51, decided to launch SpinFit by Stacy in 2020 to share his honed high energy, effective spin methods, through virtual classes brought to life with exciting music and visuals, so others can achieve the same results and have fun at the same time.
