Hyderabad Is Playing Music After 10, And Places Are Inclining Towards the Concept Of Silent Disco

Party lovers in Hyderabad now can grove to songs behind the scheduled time. After the long and hazardous conflict between the Hyderabad government and party lovers, Telangana High Court passed an order to stop playing music publically after ten. This was after the government tried to ban music playing in public places like clubs, pubs, and restaurants in the name of noise pollution. But still, the party animals, and especially the club and pub owners were not happy with the court order, and they were not willing to obey this as a consequence.

Silent disco needs wireless headphones and pubs are providing them to make sure that they are abiding by the rules and still satisfying their customers. The clubbing life of Hyderabad was causing a ton of noise pollution, and most of these pubs are located in residential areas, and people were complaining about the noise disturbances. And the order has caused havoc and disappointment amongst party lovers, and this new development will need time to gain attraction but this step is surely been appreciated by many.

Divya Shah spoke about this development stating this is a warming-up concept that will take time. She said, “The idea of silent discos is new in town. I think, given the situation, it will work out really well. Being a party animal myself, I feel it would be cool to match the frequencies with my friends and groove over music though we will be listening to it on headphones.”

Several DJs based in Hyderabad have been skeptical of this new inclusion. They say that this step may seem like a solution at this point, but they have their doubts by stating that this may not continue for a long time. City-based DJ Preetpal Sodhi said, “This comes with an extra cost to the establishment. This cannot be continued for long as the whole point of patrons visiting clubs and bars is to listen and experience the vibe that they do not get sitting at home and sipping alcohol.”

Saurabh Gupta, an event manager said, “Silent disco is being used to its fullest. Most of the clubs in town have this option for the audience which is pretty cool.” Only time can tell whether this is a good idea or a flop one.
