It’s finally official!! Stray Kids’ Hyunjin is the global face of the luxury brand Versace. The artist has been appointed by the brand as its new global ambassador. The Creative Director of Versace, Donatella Versace welcomed him into the family and praised him in a new social media post. However, the news might not come as a shock as the artist was seen attending the brand’s events as well as dressing in Versace, from head to toe.
He was also seen taking a picture with Donatella Versace and Dua Lipa in May at their “La Vacanza” cruise collection show, however, it is nothing short of a celebration for the Stray Kids’ fans. This exciting news is said to be revealed before the K-Pop group’s performance at the upcoming Lollapalooza festival in Paris. Earlier the artist was spotted at the pop-up event of Versace in Seoul.
Donatella Versace, the creative director of the luxury brand Versace expressed her excitement about the news and Hyunjin’s creativity. In her latest Instagram post, the creative director stated, “I am delighted Hyunjin is joining the Versace family. I am constantly inspired by new voices defining culture around the world and for me, Hyunjin has great new energy and creativity. I love his confidence and freedom of expression. He is a true Versace man.” With this splendid news, Hyunjin is the first Korean artist or first ever K-Pop idol to be named as the global brand ambassador of Versace. The artist is said to be a part of Versace’s 2023 Holiday Campaign, which is said to be launched around November of this year, according to a news article from Women’s Wear Daily.

Hyunjin also acknowledged the honor and shared his excitement about working with Donatella in a lengthy social media post. He wrote, “I’m so excited to be starting my Versace journey as a global ambassador and to make beautiful moments together. I am both inspired and honoured to play a part in the House’s truly amazing heritage, and that Donatella believes I have the Versace attitude! I’m filled with anticipation and can’t wait to experience the artistic synergy with Donatella.”
The singer from the Stray Kids which debuted in 2017 and was formed by JYP Entertainment has been booked and busy throughout the recent months. Hyunjin has been actively promoting music with his band, and at the same time was seen attending several fashion shows across the world and participating in photoshoots. With this new announcement, the K-Pop idol has now joined the group of Asian celebrities who are ambassadors of luxury brands.
