Sonu Nigam and his family including his wife, his son, and sister-in-law are tested COVID positive. They currently are quarantined in Dubai. He shared a vlog on Instagram to share about his health and several things that are going on.
In this video, he said that he has been tested several times but the results were the same. Though his symptoms are mild and he does not feel that sick. ‘I feel we will have to live with it. Many times, I have performed at concerts while being down with viral fever, having a bad throat, or congestion. This feels a lot better than that, I am not dying,’ he said.
He sang briefly just to share that he is happy that his voice is well enough, not like other times when he got flu, Viral, or throat congestion when he wasn’t able to sing.
He shared that he is happy because of the fact he gets to spend more time with his family especially with his son with whom he hasn’t spent much time lately. As they all were tested positive the singer said ‘It’s a happy Covid family’.
Sonu Nigam also revealed that he was supposed to be on the sets of Super Singer season 3. He also has a venue to perform planned in Bhubaneswar. He will not be able to make it there as he is in quarantine in Dubai. He also shared the fact that celebrated music director Anu Malik will be filling up for him as a judge in Super Singer.
He also informed that in the other show in Bhubaneswar Shaan one of the most popular singers will be in his place. He is well aware of the fact that some people have faced losses for him.
He went on talking about the third wave and how it has affected their works and the scheduled programs once again.
‘We have to be careful, not scared as this time it’s spreading a bit faster. I feel bad for theatre people, I feel bad for movie makers as all our work has been affected in the past 2 years.’ He said. He added that people who are running or working in restaurants are also affected by this.
