This might have been a new 2023 thing when concert attendees are throwing stuff at artists. And the new victim of this new-found ugly pattern is Cardi B. But, when someone from the audience threw a drink at her she was furious and got back to that person by throwing her mike. And her bouncers also took prompt responses to this incident.

On Saturday, Cardi B was performing at the Drai’s Beach Club in Las Vegas. And during this time a member of the audience appeared to throw a drink at her. There is clear video footage that was circulating on social media capturing this incident. In the clip everyone can see while she was performing her 2018 hit ‘Bodak Yellow’, someone splashed liquid from their paper cup at her.

Her security guards rushed to the stage immediately and few of them seen to flock in the crowd for the person. And she watched the incident from the stage and then she continued with her set. Yet, this was not the first time Cardi B threw her microphone. In another TikTok infamous video, Cardi B was seen throwing her microphone to a DJ who seemed to cut off her song early during her performance at Drai’s Nightclub on Friday.

Previously Drake, Kelsea Ballerini, Harry Styles, Bebe Rexha, and Lil Nas X have faced this sort of scenario where objects have been thrown at them. Some incidents have caused injuries and discontinuation of the event as well. Later on, Adele was seen warning her audience to restrain themselves from doing anything of that sort.

Last Week, R&B singer Monica and country star Miranda Lambert raised their voice to an incident they don’t approve of during their performance at their Detroit show. According to her opinion concerts have become “a dangerous space and place” to be a part of. She also added, “I just really want that to change.”
