Jai Paul is ready to set the stage on fire with his flawless music at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. His musical presence has always been extremely enigmatic for his listeners. The highly talented artist has broken the news to the world, and everyone is excited to see him performing live for the first time. He will be performing on April 16th, Sunday. And he is going to take the stage again on 23rd April.
While the artist list includes names like Rosalía, Gorillaz, Björk, Charli XCX, Burna Boy, Alex G, Jai Paul, Weyes Blood, Boygenius, Glorilla, Blackpink, and many other popular names. One of them is Kaytranada, who tweeted, “forget about me performing, I’m going to see Jai Paul.”
He has been dropping impressive and impactful numbers for the last 10-11 years, and his whimsical releases were the things that have kept the opaque aura around his personality. The prolific star released Leak 04-13 (Bait Ones) in 2019. And also in 2013 an “official” version of the unfinished debut album was leaked along with two previously unfinished tracks.
He is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of his track ‘BTSTU’, along with which he was releasing remixes and archival material. Apart from that he made a cameo in Atlanta earlier this year. He continued working with his brother A. K. Paul, on their Paul Institute operation; this was a 6 song EP titled ‘Summer 2020’ released in the titular year.
In 2011, his forever-lasting music release ‘BTSTU’, was sampled by two leading names in the music industry, Drake and Beyonce. Within a very short time, he had signed up with XL Recordings to officially release his upcoming songs. On 21st April 2011, they published a re-mastered rendition of ‘BTSTU’. Drake sampled the tune in his ‘Dreams Money Can Buy’ and Beyonce sampled the same track in her charming ‘End of Time’ song.
In 2012, with XL production he released another impressive track called ‘Jasmine (Demo)’, as the song received positive reactions from all the media houses. Appreciating words like “Best New Track”, “Prince Era sensuality”, and “amazing” flooded towards this young star. And as for now, when he is ready to perform live his fans including every music enthusiast are keen to see what this enigmatic artist has to offer.
