Jennifer Lopez will Host the 2025 American Music Awards

Jennifer Lopez is going to be the host of the 2025 American Music Awards. Dick Clark Productions is going to produce the award show and they have recently announced the news. As of now, it is coming to know that the show is going to be aired on Memorial Day on CBS. Previously, in 2015, JLo first hosted the show. And it is going to be her second time hosting AMA.

Before the announcement, Lopez gave a hint that she is coming back to host the show once again. She was seen at the American Music Award’s 50^th anniversary, which took place six months ago. JLo is quite excited to be back on the AMAs. However, her fans are even excited as she is going to host this year.

The CEO of Dick Clark Productions, Jay Penske said ‘We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Lopez back to host the American Music Awards’. He also added ‘Jennifer’s incredible talent and incomparable stage presence make her the ideal host of the show.  We know she will bring her one-of-a-kind energy to the official kick-off celebration of summer’.

Jennifer Lopez and the American Music Awards share a special bond. This might be her second time hosting the show, but she has performed at it more than 10 times. Thus, without JLo, AMA seems a little incomplete. As she is coming back to the show once again, it is generating a huge buzz among everyone.

The show is going to be broadcast on Memorial Day, which is the 26^thof May. The production company said before that it ‘pay special tribute to our U.S. troops and veterans through authentic performances and unforgettable moments’. This time, the AMA will be broadcast through Paramount+. And it will also be shown on CBS for everyone. It will be streamed at 8 p.m. ET/5 PT.

Before this, AMA was always streamed on ABC. However, they ended the long-term contract and shifted to CBS. It is now coming to know that, when the AMA’s ‘American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special’ was shown on CBS, it reached out to more audiences compared to the previous time. That is why they have made this shift this time. With this particular initiative, the AMAs will reach out to more audiences in a brief time, which is going to be helpful in many ways.
