“Jeopardy!” Has Successfully Wooed Every Swifties Last Night

On 24th January, Wednesday, one of the most popular quiz shows paid tribute to the works of Taylor Swift. This popular quiz show dedicated all of its categories to this pop singer. Starting from the first round of “Jeopardy!” to the very last, she and her songs prevailed throughout the latest “Champions Wildcard” episode of the game show. The newest J!6 game show revealed all the categories based on her songs.

The first five categories were named after the titles of Swift’s songs including three of her Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers, “Bad Blood,” “Shake It Off” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”. Apart from the categories also included her popular songs like “Love Story,” “Our Song,” “Bad Blood,” “Shake It Off,” “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and, lastly, “The Errors Tour.” In the final round paid homage to her blockbuster The Eras Tour, waiting to restart in Japan from the next month.

Hence, the Taylor inspiration concluded with the category titles only. The questions were not Taylor-related, for obvious reasons, but this didn’t bar the Swifties from enjoying this episode on a large scale. Twitter, ops X, was flooding with impressive tweets about this show. While Swifties can’t imagine that people were missing out on the obvious Taylor Swift clues. But the dichotomy about this episode started on social media platforms.

One not-really a Swiftie wrote, “Every single Jeopardy category (name) is Taylor Swift related, they did this for me.” There were too many negative reactions to this as well. According to some Swift is infiltrating the NFL, because of her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. A hater wrote, “‘Oh ew gross even jeopardy is being ruined by Taylor Swift’ – some idiot.”

Though, this is not the first time Jeopardy! On a Celebrity Jeopardy! They paid homage to Taylor Swift. Last year, there was an entire category of Swift-related questions called “Also a Taylor Swift Song.” They also mentioned seemingly simple questions about Swift’s single from her album ‘Lover’ “You Need to Calm Down” in 2022. At that time also, Swifties was stunned to see the question went unanswered, one viewer wondered on that incident, “HOW COULD NO ONE KNOW THE ANSWER!?!”
