BTS’ youngest member Jung Kook is just a few moments away from being a pop solo artist as he is releasing his debut solo album ‘Golden’ on November 3rd, at 1 p.m.
KST. Before that, he shares the exciting teaser of ‘Standing Next To You’, his new single from the album with the rest of the world. The teaser was uploaded from the account of HYBE Labels and will be serving as the title track of his upcoming solo release.
The music video will be released at the same time the album comes out. HYBE dropped the teaser of ‘Standing Next To You‘ on November 1 at midnight KST (8:30 pm IST) and the brief 32-second video provides just a glimpse at what the music video will bring for the listeners. However, he was seen channeling the King Of Pop, Micheal Jackson as he did the hook step of the legend and that was enough to make the ARMY crazy.
The teaser also featured the artist dressed in an MJ-esque military jacket that was completed with tassels and metallic embellishments as he imitated some of the late legend’s signature dance moves, including the iconic crotch grab. In other shots, the K-Pop superstar was seen modeling a breathtaking pair of black angel wings.
Needless to say, this teaser was enough to make his fans go absolutely crazy in excitement. ARMY has been consistent in sharing their excitement on social media, bombarding the platforms. Some of them have called Jung Kook ‘swan era Jungkook’ as he was seen wearing wings in the music video teaser. “Standing next to you choreo… NOBODY’S GOING TO SURVIVE,” one user wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). Another one expressed, Jungkook is coming to rule the music industry! 🔥👑

STANDING NEXT TO YOU is going to show the world that he is without any doubt, the most talented artist of our time.” A user also hinted at the fact that if this is the teaser, the music video will be something of a kind that was not seen before, as the user wrote on X, “the dancing in standing next to you is already insane in these few seconds preview oh my god… we are not ready”.

Even though ‘Golden’ is not out yet, the album has been breaking and making records. His duet with Latto “Seven,” earned the BTS star first-ever Billboard Hot 100 No. 1, and became the fastest song in history to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify.
