Jungkook brings a surprisingly new ‘3D’ remix with Justin Timberlake 

An exciting collaboration took place as Jungkook joined forces with Justin Timberlake for a surprise remix of his track ‘3D’. This all-new remix has arrived on Friday, November 24. While creating a buzz among the fans, the song also showcases the versatile vocal skills of these two pop superstars.

The remix provides impressive harmonies over a slick and smooth production where a retro mid-2000s hip-hop/dance vibe widely prevails. Timberlake makes sure to bring out a distinctively delicious musical taste that is reflected through his verse. As he sings, “Jung and JT on the main now/ You can still find me in a drop top/ With the top down but I got so many lanes now,” the fans get the message.

JT further goes, “Come with me, I’ll just call up the plane now/ Now let me fly you out to Seoul, Korea/ I Just wanna get into your soul like Aretha. I got the volume when you wanna get the beat up.” Whether it is a cross-cultural influence or the demand for global pop music, such collaboration between K-pop and western pop is now at the top of the list.

The original version of ‘3D’ was released before, and featured rapper Jack Harlow. It was the opening track from Jungkook’s first solo album ‘Golden’. The song became an instant hit, debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. It also peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and garnered a lot of attention globally. With this latest surprise remix, the K-pop star is making significant progress on his solo journey.

The release of the remix took place just prior to his service to the South Korean military. On November 22, Jungkook took a moment to share a sweet message with his fans and the BTS ARMY. He wrote, “In December, I will start a new journey I’m leaving you for a while to serve in the military,”

The pop star further wrote, “As I share this news, I feel heavy on one hand, and on the other hand, I’m reminded of precious memories with ARMY, so my heart warms up. Every moment I’ve spent with you has been the brightest time of my life. ARMY’s laughter, support, and love led me to this point. Thank you so much for supporting my dream and walking with me silently.” Truly, Jungkook loves his fans and his country.
