Kesha finally opens her new chapter with a bang, celebrating life and music with her latest release ‘Joyride’, once again as an independent artist. On the 4th of July, she dropped her single, after parting her ways with her forever recording company this is her first release since June 2023. The entire social media was excited to watch her back with this incredible release. She also took the liberty of social media to post about her newfound independence. She wrote on Twitter (X), “I couldn’t have made it through without all of you. Now we joyride.”

The lyric video of the song has some bold and audacious narratives. The song goes like this, “Are you a man? ‘Cause I’m a b***h, I’m already rich, just looking for that (Mm) This party sucks, I’m ’bout to ditch.” She surely has earned her way to be “Like This”. The unapologetic genesis of this number has surely ignited many people with attitude problems thoroughly.

The peppy upbeat release of this number has created a lot of attention within various music enthusiast groups.  She co-wrote this number with Zhone and Madison Love. They also produced the track. As she shared the video on Instagram, she mentioned, “MY NEW SINGLE JOYRIDE IS OUT NOW,” denoting her fresh release. Previously she teased about this number on a fandom page, where she shared, “I’ll say… to all my fans, all my animals, this has been a ride. I’ll say that there is a day — although I won’t say the day — but there is a day marked on my calendar when I am free to release music,”

After spending 10 years together Kesha and her former producer Dr. Luke who was also the owner of her recording company RCA issued a post on social media explaining their decision to part ways. They both wrote that she was parting her ways while “closing the door on this chapter of my life and beginning a new one,” a year back. And now, a few days after the parting anniversary she is back with this fascinating release to woo her audience.

In March, she tweeted, “First day I’ve owned my voice in 19 years. Welcome.” recently she was seen in the celebration of liberation with her charming performance to start off the prestigious pride weekend at WeHo’s Outloud Fest. During her performance she addressed the crowd, saying, “This is my first show as a free motherfucking woman.” In this performance, she debuted two of her latest releases namely, ‘Mother’ and ‘Freedom’.
