Kesha is kicking off this year strong! The global pop star is all set for her first release this year, and it will arrive sooner than you imagined. This upcoming release is with none other than T-Pain! The singer took to Instagram on Monday, March 24th, to announce the upcoming track ‘Yippee-Ki-Yay’ with T-Pain. The song will be released on March 27th, Thursday. The cover art for the song features the ‘TikTok’ star in black underwear, wrapped in Saran Wrap. In the picture, Kesha has her eyes closed as a leaf blower blows air through her pretty blonde hair.

On Instagram, Kehsa captioned the picture with “YIPPEE-KI-YAY. FEAT. @TPAIN .THURSDAY .” The post obviously cheered her fans and the comments flooded in. Some of the comments read, “This is everything 🔥🔥🔥❤️”, “Yipeeeekiyeeeee”, “AAAAAAAAAAA”, “Can’t wait 😍”, “Mother is mothering😭❤️”, etc. Other people showed their excitement by saying, “OMG WHATTTTT?????🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥”, “Ur JOKING!! I’m so excited! What an insane collab! Cant waitttttyt”, “THE WAY WE WON”, “So excited! 😆now we need album cover and release date”, “EXCUSE MEEEE OH MY GODDDD”, “I wasn’t ready for thiss🥲🥳🥹”, etc.
This new upcoming song will be the first album that the artist will release under her independent label. The singer began releasing music under her own label Kesha Records, in July 2024. Kesha started with ‘Joyride’ in 2024 and she followed with ‘Delusional’. This independent label by Kesha got a global distribution deal with ADA. This new deal gives the music superstar complete control over her music and 100% ownership of her work. This news of Kesha partnering with ADA comes almost a year after the singer parted ways with Kemosabe Records by Dr. Luke, following their long legal battle. ADA is currently also working with Kesha’s management company to oversee the marketing and advertising for her next album, expected to be released in 2025.

Kesha’s new and promising musical era comes after the settling of a defamation suit filed by Dr. Luke in 2023. This came several years after the singer herself filed a lawsuit against her former producer, alleging physical, sexual, and emotional abuse in 2014.
Now, it seems the singer has fully moved on with her creative work. Last year’s July in an interview with Forbes, Kesha mentioned, “I’m really excited for Kesha Records to expand and grow in all the ways that people would think, but also in unexpected ways because I’m currently looking into the tech space and I’m looking to find partners who have the values that I align with.” “So, in addition to the traditional record label model, I’m also looking to the future and I’m looking for some really creative, boundary-pushing, innovative tech creators that want to change how the music business works and bring a new level of transparency to the whole business,” she continued.
Kesha also previously teased the release of her upcoming album via Instagram. In a previous post that came last week, Kesha mentioned, “JUST TURNED IN MY ALBUM… TO MYSELF.”
