American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer King Princess who broke through in 2018 with a single 1950 before she finally issued her debut in 2019 with Cheap Queen has hit the scene once again with her latest melodic song ‘PAIN’ which according to her is her most special creation so far. Born as Mikaela Straus, the Brooklyn-based singer has a terrific melodious voice that swoons the audience with its organic warmth. On her latest single, the singer has introduced piano harmonies that contribute a great deal to its charm. The single has been co-produced with Mark Ronson and sounds like a driving, dynamic track. The alt-pop star has given the song a delicious melody that matches neat guitar elements to catchy electronics that is sure to become an immediate hit amongst the fans. The songwriter’s skill to play wisely with the words over atmospheric synth production makes the record even more endearing.
King Princess has never shied away from showing her vulnerable side and always hits back a little harder with her pop acts. Using engaging beats, hooking instrumentals, and her explicit vocals, the single ‘PAIN’ might prove to be her best work so far. Speaking of her passion and talent, the singer was offered a record deal only at the age of 11 and she studies at USC before she finally stepped up to pursue her music career. Her earlier records like Send Pix and Sunburn had a more bluesy rock harmony but the singer soon polished that on her 2018 hit 1950. In 2019, she released her first full-length album Cheap Queen that went on to hit the Top 20 of the Billboard Top Alternative Album s Chart making her more popular than ever. The new hit single is put now for full listen across all major streaming platforms.
