Lady Gaga has shared her honest take on Lucy Dacus’s latest cover of ‘Abracadabra’ and the singer is overwhelmed with the version of her own song. Cherishing the cover, the singer commented on the video and highly appreciated the work.
Lucy Dacus from the Boygenius is a very talented woman with her vocal skills and she has recently performed a few tracks at the Radio 1’s New Music Show with Jack Saunders. She has recently released an album project called ‘Forever Is A Feeling‘ and she sang two songs from the collection, namely ‘Ankles’ and ‘Best Guess’. Perhaps, the performance counts as the promotion of her album but the cover ‘Abracadabra’ was truly a musical treat.

Her rendition of the track has received approval and appreciation from Gaga as she wrote in the comment sections “I LOVE this so much” along with a crying emoji and added “wow.” She further said, “captures the purity of the song.”
Obviously, it was a fangirl moment for Lucy and she shared a screenshot of the comment on X and wrote, “I’m shaking.” Her recent album ‘Forever Is A Feeling’ offers a raw and intriguing picture of troubled emotions and can be considered as one of the notable works by this young artist.

Her band, Boygenius is one of the most talented coming-age indie rock supergroups from America which also includes Julien Baker and Phoebe Bridgers. Lucy has embarked on a solo career and made quite significant progress with her versatile musical skills of singing, songwriting, playing guitar, and producing records. Her debut album ‘No Burden’ was a great project and so was her second studio album ‘Historian’ which was released in 2018 and gained critical acclaims.
On the other hand, Lady Gaga has recently announced that she is embarking on a world tour this year and it will take place through various parts of the UK, North America, and Europe. She will be performing at The O2 in London for three dates including September 29, September 30, and October 2. However, she is also facing a hefty $100m lawsuit by a surf company that claimed that the artist has ripped off their logo and used it for her on goods.
