Lana Del Rey Confirmed Her Ex-Boyfriend Had a ‘Little Bubble Ego’

Lana Del Rey has finally talked about her past relationship and the reason for her breakup. The singer has said it is her former partner’s ego and his unlikeliness towards her home was the major reason for their separation. The ‘Say Yes to Heaven’ singer was quite surprised at how her humble home became a problem in their relationship.

In an interview, she stated ‘We had some fights over this house, a couple people…They didn’t get it’. Right after that, she said ‘I feel like even the most chill guy doesn’t really want to chill here’. She also added by saying ‘Sadly, part of you knows…that ain’t it…That one shocked me. I won’t name names and whatever, but that one really shocked me, that person. That was actually the end of a relationship’. Lana also stated her last boyfriend ‘didn’t get’ her home, which is quite surprising.

Apart from these, they have other several issues in their relationship. His ego was one of the biggest problems. Not only that, but her ex-boyfriend didn’t even have much respect for her work and career. For anyone, it can be a major issue in the relationship. The Grammy-nominated artist still finds it weird that her show at the Arkansas Amphitheater was sold out and it was a career-defining moment for her.

From all these incidents, it can be understood that Lana didn’t have a supportive partner in the last relationship. While talking about her ex, she also said ‘That’s a tough nut to swallow’. She even added ‘“In that person’s case…there was something going on with them, like a little bubble ego… See, I don’t get to have one anymore. It’s been smashed to … what do you call it? Smithereens. I’m sure it’s somewhere in my toe. That’s it. I’d love to grow one’.

Later Lana Del Rey continued by saying ‘I’m learning how. I’m learning. I know what I want’. The last relationship was a whole different kind of experience for her. After going through all these, she is now willing to commit to anyone. And now she wants to stay away from all relationships and remain single for a bit.
