The annual music charity festival, Light of Day has announced its Winter Love Fest 2021. The charity raises money to fight against Parkinson’s disease and related illnesses ALS and PSP.
The event is scheduled for 3 days from 12th to 14th of February. The virtual event will be featuring 60 performers.
It will range from singers, songwriters, neo rockers, and many Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, like Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.
Some of the confirmed appearances are Jill Hennessy, The Weeklings, Jeffrey Gaines, Low Cut Connie, Joe Grushecky & The Houserockers, Willie Nile, Ben Arnold, Adam Ezra, Joe Rapolla, Jesse Malin, James Maddock, Dramarama, Steve Forbert, Bruce Tunkel, John Eddie, Williams Honor, Lisa Bouchelle and Brian Dunne and many more.
The event will be streaming on digital platforms like the YouTube channel and Facebook page of Light of Day. The viewers will be Encouraged to donate while the show goes on.
The administrations took a great decision of motivating all the musicians around to perform on the live stream on their platform.
It will be promoted by LOD (Light Of Day) throughout the next day which means Saturday on 13th February.
Musicians on a Mission and Women of Song are the two musical organizations from New Jersey who have confirmed their participation.
On a different note, The Kids Rock Show will feature big-time adult rock stars.
The anticipation has increased with the news that Steve Van Zandt and Eddie Brigati of the Rascals and Ricky Byrd will be performing with the students of Rockit academy.
Other school bands like Lakehouse Music, Rock ‘n Music Academy and School of Rock will be performing in the show as well.
Light of Day co-founder and Executive Director, Tony Pallagrosi said in a statement, “Even in times of Covid-19, Light of Day WinterFest 2021 will happen.”
