ROCKSTAR from her label LLOUD has created an enormous impact on the audience. The rapper and singer of BLACKPINK has gained the heart of the audience with her comeback solo debut that was backed by powerful lyrics and upbeat tunes. This time she has announced to drop another bomb which will be her second single from the same label and the fourth solo track of hers after ‘MONEY’ and ‘LALISA’. It is called ‘New Woman’ and the music video teaser within just hours of its release has gained more than 500k views and more than 100k likes on YouTube.
The much anticipated single has finally let the audience take a sneak peek at the powerful collaboration of the enigmatic rapper, singer Lisa, and the reggaeton-pop sensation Rosalía. For quite some time Lisa has been sharing photos of the friendship she has with the Spanish singer on social media that had the fans speculating about a new collaboration and this music video teaser has finally given some answers to them. The friendship has been public since April 2023 and the first sneak peek Lisa gave her fans of the new collaboration was through her TikTok account where she released a 12 seconds video of her rap verse in the track which quickly went viral, creating intrigue and anticipation among the fans for the whole song.
After Lisa’s ROCKSTAR claimed the 8th position on the Billboard Philippines’ Hot 100, the audience has been waiting for the new single, and Lisa has announced to deliver just that on 15th August 2024 on all streaming and digital platforms. Apart from her solo career, the rapper of BLACKPINK is said to be reunited with the fellow members of the group for another world tour in 2025 which was announced by YG Entertainment. On the other hand, Rosalía has also been teasing her fans with new music on the way as she hinted at a collaboration with Charli XCX on the latter’s remix album to her recently released album ‘brat’.

The teaser of ‘New Woman’ opens with Lisa who has been transformed into an ‘IT’ girl with her stunning and gorgeous blonde hair sitting in the middle of a room with a commanding pose which cuts to the next scene where she is seen all smiles with the sensual Rosalía. Both of them looked all things desirable with their unique looks and personalities in the video. In the last scene, the dynamic duo is seen in a black-and-white ensemble, with Lisa in white and Rosalía in black.
