Previously this week, Lorde offered a hint on social media regarding her new music ‘soon’ on a social media post. And she kept her promise during her performance at the UK’s Boardmasters Festival on Friday. While headlining at the festival, she was singing new material which is apparently two of her unreleased tracks.
Video clips from the festival reveal that there were two more tracks and fans offered potential new titles like ‘Silver Moon’ and ‘Invisible Ink’ even though not officially announced.
“Are you with me?”, Lorde yelled to the crowd and then jumped into a new set of lyrics, “Every night the silver moon it changes/Can you the same?/Do you stay the same?/Can you change with me?/Can I be honest?”. The videos also showed that she offered another moodier track where she sang, “Behind his back, I use invisible ink, color outside the lines with you.”
This New Zealand singer shared a series of photos on Thursday after taking a night dip along with a caption that reads, “After the show we went swimming.. these times are beautiful and they freak me out and there’s so much to tell you.”
She further added, “No this is not the start of anything out there, just want u to know there’s a light on inside me .. show it to you soon.” The ‘Melodrama’ singer offered what to expect next but did not reveal any date for the release. When someone claimed that the songs will be released in the next 10 days, she simply said, “Lmao NO.”
Last summer Lorde helped to revive “Precious Metals,” produced by Jack Antonoff. It created quite a buzz during her performance at the Solar Power tour stop in Uncasville, Connecticut.
