New Orleans Native Mami Bands has just recently hit the Rap scene. Giving you a sound of Sexy and Seductive with a dash of Hood! Mami Bands has always been quite the Hustler. She started out pursuing a career as a Cosmetologist where she owned her own Beauty Salon at the age of 23 and soon realized that career didn’t suit her lifestyle very well and her Dreams of taking care of her family. Although since a child she has been having an interest in music from her mother introducing her to a wide variety of genres and artists. Some of her favorite artists are the late

When she was around the age of 9 years old she started to get a first-hand look at the Rap scene due to her father consistently pushing her brother to pursue his career as a rapper. The young Mami Bands would have never thought the career was made for her. That was until she decided to give it a try back in December of 2020. Despite the fact of her recently entering the scene she has caused quite the commotion in her city with her first video “Hood Princess” and her recent single “Hood Ricch”. ” I’m just starting and have so much in store!
