Miley Cyrus And Pharrell Williams Teamed Up For ‘Doctor (Work It Out)’

It the time to recover as Miley Cyrus is bringing ‘Doctor (Work It Out)’ with Pharrell Williams which is currently live on streaming services, starting from March 1st, Friday. This is the first single release by Cyrus since her last single in 2023, “Used to Be Young.”

This energetic and groovy music project consists of a fair amount of Pharrell’s signature works. Cyrus on the other hand takes things on her hand being the lover doctor. As the lyrics go, “I could be a doctor and I could be a nurse,” and “I think I see the problem, it’s only gonna get worse … Just show me where it hurts/ I need to rock you baby, before your body burns/ Can we work it out?”; it has an emotive approach in it.

This collaboration project is highly anticipated and reportedly has been working in progress for more than a decade. The track “Doctor (Work It Out)” was originally intended to be released earlier but somehow it did not happen, and now, it is being scrapped from her 2013 album ‘Bangerz’.

In January this year, Pharrell Williams teased the single project in Paris, at the Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall-Winter 2024 Collection presentation. The official release date for the track was scheduled for Wednesday (Feb. 28) and it is already generating a major buzz among the fans.

Miley dancing in a sparkly fringe dress with a teasing hairstyle churns out the groovy energy in the track which makes it even more captivating. Fans are still wondering whether “Doctor” identifies as the start of a new musical journey or not. Her last album was released in 2023 which was titled ‘Endless Summer Vacation’ which arrived in March. The music project reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

It goes without saying that ‘Flowers’ is one of the most hit songs by Miley last year which became the second-ever No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The song brought her the and the second Grammy of her music career, for best pop vocal performance as well as record of the year. The song reigned on the top place for a whooping eight weeks.
