Miley Cyrus’s Performance with Brandi Carlile, and new song ‘You’ makes New Year’s Eve worth remembering

World-famous American singer and actress Miley Cyrus paired up with Brandi Carlile for their brilliant performance with a pair of songs in Miami where she also suffered a wardrobe malfunction.

Both Miley and Brandi came up with some of their hits from their earlier days. They performed on the tracks of ‘The Story’, which was Brandi Carlile’s first big single from the year 2007. The pair then went on to perform the track of ‘The Climb’, which was Cyrus’s hit from the year 2009.

Miley Cyrus also featured the debut of her new single ‘You’ at the New Year’s Eve party, which was also co-hosted by Pete Davidson.

Making the party even more amazing, Miley and her guests on the evening performed many covers. Noah Cyrus, Miley’s sister, performed on Dolly’s patron’s ‘Jolene’. Brandi Carlile, on the other hand, took a shot on Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’. Finally, Miley and Pete Davidson performed a duet of Will Smith’s ‘Miami’.

During the entire evening, the most viral moment came while Miley was performing on the song of ‘Party In the U.S.A.’, when the singer cum actress suffered a horrible wardrobe malfunction when her silver top that she was wearing on the night peeled off her, forcing her to return to the backstage. Her backup singers came to her rescue and performed the opening chorus for her. Miley soon re-emerged on the stage donning a sports jacket with no shirt.

Miley, during her performance, stated, “Everybody’s definitely looking at me now. I’m still in the most clothes that I’ve ever worn on stage”

Miley further stated to her crow that the night was all about being flexible, rolling with punches, and making the best out of even the worst circumstances. She tried to lift the morale of the crowd in such a week where Florida was making its own record of Covid Cases.

She also claimed that people have learned to expect the unexpected and face it with positivity. She wished everyone watching her a very Happy New Year and that her fans really made the night possible.
