Iconic pop star Miley Cyrus has kicked off the Super Bowl LV with her enigmatic performance in Tampa, Florida.
The singer started the pre-game party by performing at ‘TikTok Tailgate’ on a track, titled ‘Hey Miley’. The track has premiered on YouTube on 10th February with a music video that features different clips of Miley and NFL sports.
The pre-show was exclusively dedicated to 7,500 vaccinated frontline workers. They were officially invited to the game of NFL to thank them for battling against the pandemic and COVID-19 over last year.
The NFL Championship between Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was highly anticipated which is carried forward by Miley’s flamboyant personality and flawless performance.
The singer hit the stage in a leather cheerleading costume complemented by the black and purple color. Inspired by Toni Basil’s “Hey Mickey”, she changed the track into ‘Hey Miley’ and transitioned into a newer version.
Later on, she put up a rendition of her and Dua Lipa’s single, ‘Prisoner’.
The singer addressed the crowd and said, “Thank you so much! Welcome to the TikTok Tailgate everybody. This is my first show in about a year, and I couldn’t imagine a better way to do this than in Tampa, surrounded by healthcare heroes.”
