Gospel Singer Kaya Jones Drops New Song Ahead Of Appearance Hosting International Christian Film Festival
(DailyMusicRoll Editorial):- Nashville, Tennessee Apr 29, 2024 (Issuewire.com) – A new release from Grammy-winner Kaya Jones reminds listeners that in times of outer and inner chaos, there’s always reason for hope.
With bright instrumentals and soulful vocals, “Royal” tells the story of children who are unconditionally cherished by their Creator, the King of Kings. The gospel singer, formerly of Pussycat Doll fame, released the song on April 26 on major streaming platforms.

The song’s opening lyrics, “Shaken, shaken, I cannot deny, rumors of war and a great divide” could have been ripped from the day’s headlines. But the words were written roughly two years ago, during a devastating period in Jones’ life. Deaths of friends, failed relationships, and business collapse threatened to drag her under. But she clung to the promise that her Father, the Most High God, would carry her through.
“I didn’t think I was going to make it out of there,” she said. “It shifted because He is faithful.
Listening to the verses now, Jones is struck by their relevance, given the current state of global conflicts juxtaposed with the release date, Hebrew Passover, and its commemoration of the Resurrection. She sees how God has worked things for good in her life, and encourages those who are suffering to remember that their pain won’t last forever, either.
“Do not think you’re not going to make it through, because it’s just a blip, it’s just a page,” she says. “Remember whose child you are, remember who made you. We are royal because we are created by the King of Kings.”
Apple Music, Spotify, and other platforms feature three versions of the song: a single, a worship edit, and an instrumental version for individuals and churches to use for praise and worship.
