Oasis was one of the most celebrated British pop bands producing hit records left and right. Fifteen years ago, the duo disbanded in chaos. However, there may still be hope for the fans as the Britpop band is on the verge of returning. Noel and Liam Gallagher fronted the band, and now they have teased an announcement on Tuesday 27 August, at 8 am which fans are widely expecting to be an announcement for a reunion. The massive hits of the band include “Wonderwall”, “Don’t Look Back in Anger” and “Champagne Supernova”. Oasis disbanded in 2009 which was followed by a backstage scuffle at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
Since the big fallout, the Gallagher brothers have never come together and stayed estranged which made a reunion very unlikely. Both the brothers, Liam and Noel have continued their solo music journeys as they released several projects on their own, over the last few years. Liam was busy with Beady Eye and Noel had his own releases with High Flying Birds. However, this recent speculation is based on the hints given by the brothers that got the fans ramped up. On Sunday night, both the brothers along with the band’s official Instagram account shared a message that only the date 27 August, and the time 8 am appeared.
Well, now the announcement was made and the band is officially returning on stage!! The rock band has just announced the long-awaited reunion. But that is not it, the fans are going crazy as the band is also returning to live stages with their first UK and Ireland shows in 16 years. After rumors throughout more than a decade, the day is finally here reuniting not just the band, but all the Oasis fans throughout the entire world. This proves that the brothers, Noel and Liam Gallagher seemingly have healed their strenuous relationship and will join one another on stage at the Oasis Live 25 tour. On the tour, the band will play a string of live shows in stadiums in Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin, across the summer of 2025. “I never did like that word FORMER,” Liam, the 51-year-old frontman had teased of his frontman status just hours earlier. He did it while responding to fans who were pleading with him to confirm the news of the reunion.
The tour includes four nights at Heaton Park in Manchester, which is also the hometown of Oasis. Then the tour will get four more shows at Wembley Stadium in London. The reunion tour dates are -`
