Park Seo Joon is on the news with several movies and K-dramas on the line. But this is not the only exciting thing that is going on in his life. Rumors of the globally recognized K-drama actor dating a YouTuber named xooos is circling around and currently is fueled by the actor’s past comments about his ideal type. The comments about the actor’s ideal girlfriend and what he finds beautiful in his partner have resurfaced amid the dating rumors.
On June 20th, the media reported that Park Seo Joon is allegedly dating YouTuber xooos with a bunch of evidence shared online. An entertainment insider even said to the Korean media last month that the actor had been in a relationship with the Korean YouTuber xooos, who’s real name is Kim Soo Yeon for quite a while now. According to the JTBC exclusive report, Seo Joon is reportedly introducing Soo Yeon to his close and intimate circle as well. Apart from the media channels, Korean netizens also found hints and gestures of these two being together. The first evidence that the netizens found was the now-deleted photo of the two of them in London.
Amid the rumors, the clippings of past interviews where the actor was seen to be describing his ideal type are now resurfacing. The Idol was naked in an interview about what he thinks made a person beautiful, to which he answered, “Mindset? Someone who thinks positively? I think those people become more beautiful on the outside. […] I think it is really important to have good positive and kind thoughts.” In another interview, the actor was asked what he finds attractive, to which he answered, “If their hands are my type, I am more interested in that person.”
However, after the rumors started to gain attention online, both the star’s agencies were contacted for any proof or statement. Awesome ENT, Park Seo Joon’s agency published a statement that says, “Please understand that it’s difficult for us to comment and confirm facts about the personal life of our artist. We are truly sorry.” On the other hand, xooos’ agency WAVY published a statement saying, “We cannot confirm anything.”
The actor recently broke his silence on the rumors when at a press conference about his upcoming film Concrete Utopia he was asked to comment. The actor neither denied nor confirmed the fact, instead, he said, “in my situation, I feel a lot of pressure in revealing my personal life and it is difficult to say anything noteworthy because it is part of my personal life” and asked the media to focus on his acting project.
