Australian pop icon Sia has announced the release of her latest album ‘Music – Songs From And Inspired By The Motion Picture’ which will hit the market in February 2021.
Iconic pop singer Sia has announced her latest studio album ‘Music – Songs From And Inspired By The Motion Picture’. It is her eighth studio album which will be released on 12th February 2021 via Monkey Puzzle/Atlantic.
The album consists of 14 tracks including some of the earlier releases like “Courage to Change”, “Together”, etc. Among the new tracks, the track “Hey Boy” has already been released along with a lyrical video. The song is written by Sia herself, Jesse Shatkin, and KAMILLE. The production is handled by Shatkin only.
A feature film with the same name as the album will be also released along with the album release. Sia’s music video for “Chandelier” features many film stars like Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Kate Hudson, Tony and Grammy Award winner Leslie Odom, Jr. and Maddie Ziegler.
In the upcoming movie, Hudson will play a character named Zu, who foresees that she will be the sole guardian of her half-sister Music. This character is played by Ziegler as an autistic person. The initial idea and the screenplay of the movie are written by Sia and Dallas Clayton. The movie is based on a short story written in 2007.
While working on these new projects Sia has released another song named “Saved My Life” earlier this year. The song was written by fellow pop star Dua Lipa.
Sia was also a part of the movie ‘Doliitle’s soundtrack with a song called “Original.” Her musical group LSD with Labrinth and Diplo teamed up together and released a new song called “No New Friends”. This track was also released earlier this year.
