It is time to get ready for another captivating project by Ariana Grande with the singer teasing with the preview music video for ‘The Boy Is Mine.’ She shared the clip on Instagram.
Ariana Grande’s ‘The Boy Is Mine’ will be dropping an official music video and the singer has teased the project with a preview on social media. The release date for the video is scheduled already.
On Monday, the singer shared a brief but intriguing preview of the video on Instagram and fans are going gaga over it. She captioned the post “meow,” and it also suggests that it will premiere on Friday, June 7.
In the music video preview, an unidentified male character could be seen placing a glass of drink down in the bathroom sink which he fills with a bucket of ice. While the person sinks his face into the ice, two clawed hands can be seen opening the door with a lurking vibe, and then, the name of the video pops.

Around a week ago, the ‘Eternal Sunshine’ singer offered a hint about the upcoming project by uploading a couple of photos on Instagram. In those images, the singer was wearing a cat-ear headband and on the wall, there were two hearts with “TRUE LOVE” and “BE MINE” written on them. A painted portrait could be also seen which focuses on the lower mid-frame of the subject.
Director Christian Breslauer has also handled this project and is a long-time collaborator for Grande. He has previously worked on the tracks “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” which appears on the ‘Eternal Sunshine’ album. He also commented “Get your popcorn, take your seats,” on the Monday Teaser and shared it on his Instagram account with the caption, “ACT III… soon,”.
Ariana Grande is currently buzzing at No. 1 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart with the latest single “We Can’t Be Friends”. The Pop Airplay chart was initiated back in 1992 based on the weekly plays received by the latest tracks on over 150 mainstream along with top 40 radio stations. The is monitored by the media base and then offered to Billboard. Previously on March 23, “We Can’t Be Friends” reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart.
Not just the singles but the album ‘Eternal Sunshine’ is also hailing from the no.1 place on the Billboard 200 albums chart. With the preview of the upcoming music video of “The Boy Is Mine”, the singer is surely increasing some anticipation among her fans.
